FAQs.

Answers to some questions that are frequently asked. Give us a call or text if you have a question not listed!

An escape room is a real life adventure where a team finds clues, solves riddles, cracks codes and pieces together puzzles until they escape the room or run out of time trying! Can you and your team complete the room in 60 minutes? Come and find out!

For safety purposes, you won’t be physically locked in the room. But for all intents and purposes, consider the door locked!
If necessary, feel free to leave the room at any time. Because you have 60 minutes to complete your mission, we recommend you use the restroom and take care of any other business before you begin.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your reservation. We follow a strict schedule to ensure the following teams get to start on time, so if you arrive late you may not get your full time. Plus, give yourself time to use the restroom if you need.
We accept Visa, Discover, and Mastercard. We do not accept cash as all bookings must be made online prior to your escape experience.
Absolutely, but it’s very easy to do so: click here to make a reservation.

If you don’t see a time slot that works for you, contact us to make a special arrangement. You can call/text us: 267.544.SAGE

Or email us at: book@sageescaperoom.com.

We follow a strict schedule to ensure the following teams are able to start on time, so if you arrive late you may not get your full 60 minutes. If there isn’t yet a reservation after your booking, our Game Proctors can choose to start your escape experience when all parties are present. But just be on time, bub!

All of our rooms are private! Book only with those you feel comfortable escaping with!

Yes, we are always watching… but seriously, we are! We have to keep an eye on your game play so we can be there for you if you want a hint. Also, we have to make sure you aren’t wrecking shop on our precious, precious rooms!

Unfortunately, due to the nature of how we reserve spots we are unable to issue refunds. But, if you are unable to make your reservation we will do our best to place you into another slot during off-peak hours, if able. You can also transfer your reservation to a friend; just call us and let us know at 267.544.SAGE

Yes, if you are unable to make your reservation, you can give your spot to a friend. Just be sure to send us an email or give us a call/text to keep us in the loop at 267.544.SAGE.

There are different levels of difficulty which you choose with your Game Proctor (GP) before your experience begins. But don’t worry, you can always change your mind if you need extra help during the game! Your GP will also let you know how you can ask for hints.
Keep in mind: In order to make the League of Extraordinary Eggheads Leader Board, you have to escape the room using only the clues allotted for your adventure.
If your team is having trouble finding clues, or solving problems, you can ask your Game Proctor (GP) for hints throughout the game. Your GP will let you know how you can ask for hints before your experience begins.

Phones and cameras aren’t permitted into the escape room, but we have a locker system to safeguard your personal belongings while you are busy escaping.

Everything you need to escape the room can be found in the room! Except for you, your team, and your brains! No need to bring your flashlight, or magnifying glass!

We allow children eight years of age and older to participate in our escape rooms on the condition that they be accompanied by an adult. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Our lobby and restrooms are the only place you can take photos or videos, but we will take a few shots for you to commemorate your success after you escape! Feel free to tag us in any social media posts, pretty please. We’re on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat: @SageEscapeRoom
You are more than welcome to try a room again if you fail, but we don’t recommend bringing any new teammates the second time. This is because you may remember solutions to some of the puzzles, and this may ruin the experience of those doing the room for the first time.
The Purgers legally purge you/ Milton Lemons goes to jail/ Jerry Lemons fires you. JUST KIDDING!! When your time is up, your Game Proctor will enter the room. Here, you get debriefed and can ask any questions you may have about your experience.

You are always free to leave. Remember, you are never truly locked in any room. If you have to leave due to an emergency, we will do our best to find a time you can return and resume your escape.

You won’t have time to eat or drink in our rooms because you’ll be too busy finding clues, solving puzzles, and bonding with your teammates. But also, you aren’t allowed!! 😉

But please do yourself a service and visit one of the many amazing restaurants located within walking distance of us!

We’d love to hear it! Give us a call/text at 267.544.SAGE or message us here.
